Heyya

I am still awake and its almost 3.30am. Got back from the library at ten to 3am. I am currently feeling awesome cause I have done some work. The essay that I have been dreading is currently 800 words going to 900 whoop whoop! :D I was stuck on 400 words since yesterday. Hopefully it will go smoothly again tomorrow. And by Sunday everything would be done. & then revision time!!!!!

I want to be happy no more stressing out. Habir and I were talking about stress hours ago. His assignment is due next week as well. What is life without hardship? No fun at all. Not that I want problems all the time. Nauzubillah. (knock on wood)

Oh right I went to the library with Chris, Jason and Simon. They are good company to study with. Although haha Chris did something stupid just now. He shouted "Oh jesus praise to..." well he shouted something similar to that. LOL

Anyway, hopefully essay will be running smoothly tomorrow. Amin.

This came to me as a vast amount of shock. But things happen,its the way life is. The way I look at it, things happen for a reason or possibly reasons & I believe in- "When one door closes, two others open..."

It made me think, anything that you have, anything at all can be gone in a split second. It may be looks, it maybe wealth. Nothing lasts forever. All we can do now is be thankful for everything. No matter how hard your life is others could be in a harder condition.

At the moment I have added a hundred more words to my essay making it 500 out of 2000. Hopefully I will be able to write 500 more words tonight. And it will be 1000 more!!

a little too much

Today was my eye appointment. I am very pleased on the way Specsavers did the eye check. It was very thorough and makes me feel that the money that I've spent worth every penny. You know the feeling you get when you spend your money on something and then you don't even care or think back "oh I shouldn't have..." or anything like that. yeah thats exactly how i feel at the moment.

2.50pm went to see the doctor for the eye check up and then around 3.3.0pm went in to another room different optician. The second optician is for my lenses. I get to try them new lenses, clearer than the one I had before.

Went to M&S afterward, boxers on Sale. M&S panties & boxers are so comfortable. Well I know about the panties part the men in my life told me that the boxers are comfortable. I might buy some boxers for myself hehe.

Ufftt I am dreading my Global essay. Its due this coming Wednesday the 13th. I have 400 words now and 1600 more to go. I had so many ideas last night when I was reaidng the resources in the library with them guys and no I have nothing nada zilch!!! urghh I can't even understand the notes that I've taken.. They are guidelines for the essay when I met Khanh Duc. I really want to get it done and over with. With high mark ofcourse. So I can start on doing my revison for my exams in June.

Ok Im going to start reading the articles again maybe the ideas that I had last night would come back.

Logitec Z4 worth every penny spent. :D

This is what I have spent my money on for Aprils allowance. The sound is fantastic. I bought these boom box from Currys. Two slim speakers accompanied by one subwoofer. You can literally feel the floor vibrating as you are playing either movie or music. The bass does not go all husky if you crank up the volume high.

All I can say is that it is worth every penny even my friends are planning to buy them now.

I am into sound as much as I am into music. What is the point is listening to music if you can't hear them nicely? :P

Hi :)

I am very happy today cause I went shopping for my Mum :D

& a bit for myself...

Bought Mama clothes from Marks & Spencer. I spent at least 2 hours roaming around choosing clothes for Mama. Most of them nice ones are polyester which mama can't wear. Its either silk or cotton for her. Plus they were short sleeve. (inda sama macam Singapore's Marks & Spencer). But I think she will love the things I bought her :D I am pretty excited! I miss her and love her so much!

p/s: My eye appointment is moved to Wednesday 3pm cause I was late by 5 Minutes today :( but its all good.

Then I went to Next,Jane Norman,Topshop, River Island....

Window shopping is never "window shopping" You always end up buying stuff in the end! Like what I've done today.

My clothes are so colourful,its Spring init so everything has to be colourful and striking.

Met Mik in town, he wanted ice-cream. Ufft always with his Magnum! Me and my nachos. Went to the park. Just sat on the grass and relaxed. Enjoying the Sun.

Got back home at 5pm. So its from 10.30am to 5pm. 6 hours.

&Yesterday went shopping as well.

Screws!

I had a really nice day yesterday :)

At the moment I am aching everywhere cause I had a work out session on Sunday which I forgot to include in the previous blog.

Sunday was a nice sunny day, so I decided to jog. Cold wind but was ok. So I went around the Sports field to my house around Lypeat as well, back and forth & back & forth.7laps. Afterwards, played ball with Mik and while he was on the phone asked him to stand on my foot and I did 70sit-ups. haha and we played rugby catch till 9 at night with Hugh. The longest was 50 throws without dropping the ball :D my tummy is still sore...

Yesterday was McDonalds, finding the screw and Tesco.Very productive. Had a quick nap and we went to the library stayed until 12am.

I have cleaned the kitchen as well last night after coming back from the Library. Why? LOL Mik's kitchen was full of ants so he cleaned up his kitchen (housemates left their dirty dishes) & since his kitchen looked so tidy I somehow got jelous and rearranged and cleaned mine some more. After the spring cleaning in the kitchen I did my laundry. I know!! I was just not tired somehow. Whilst doing my laundry, was watching drumline.

Hmmm

The weather is not so nice today. Gloomy :/

Studied two lecture notes aka 2 Chapters for Discourse Analysis last night. More studying is in need :)

Brighter Days

So I went out today,to check out clothes and things on what to bring back for little cousins. Saw some pretty stuff for the girls and this pants, summer pants for Amir and shoes!

I wish I have all the money in the world to buy them loads of stuff :( unfortunately I don't boooo :(

The day was so bright today, I am loving the weather.

Good news, I have been longing to use contact lenses ever since the last pair that I had got torn. Asked my mother to order some for me in Brunei at the shop that I usually bought them but they don't do my lenses anymore. Apparently they have a new manager so things such as the administration are different now so I can't get them contact lenses.

So the good news is I went to Boots to ask about the cost. The optician told me that I need to have my eye checked and it has to be not more than 6months ago and I have to have a form signed by the eye doctor. Since I don't have any of those I have to recheck my eyes, this would cost 20quid and I have to pay for the appointment. Appointments to see the doctor would cost me 35quid. So everything now is already 55quid without the contact lenses. I need to pay another amount of money for the contact lens and the price varies accordingly to the range of degrees and astigmatism which is understandable. But wholly shmolly all and all is about 80quid which is 20 more quid to 100 quid! (100pounds x 2.7=$270 Bruneian dollars!)

Then I went to Specsavers which saved my life!!!! Literally it did! I went in and asked if they do contact lenses and etc. She said they do and I asked her how much does the process cost in total. She said I have to have my eyes checked which is not necessary but I think it is for me cause I haven't had my eyes checked over the past 6months. And this will cost 20quid. Next process is the fitting in of the contact lenses, a tiral period. This ontheotherhand is free. And then it would take around 7working days to order the contact lense. My pair would cost around 15quid but just incase I am saving up 20quid for the lenses. So all and all it would only cost me less than 50quid to get them lenses. This is way cheaper than Boots. I think Boots is such a rip off. Sorry Boots :(

That is one good news :) Another one is that I figured out to work the wheels of my luggage which I thought was completely broken and not fixable. Mik came over and told me how it worked and I tried to figure out some stuff while he was talking to Mo. All I need now is a screw which I will find in a DIY shop tomorrow, hopefully the sell them ones so I dont have to spend 200quid on a new luggage. *fingers crossed so tight

I am going to town again tomorrow. Hopefully everything will work out. I believe in patience. (although I am not really great with it) God please help me out with the luggage thingy,that it will be sorted out. So money would be saved in case of an emergency (knock on wood) instead of spending them on a new luggage. Please make the contact lenses and luggage bag fixable please.Amin. :)

You wonder what in the world is she on about. Well its French, related to mon future. French will be one of the modules that I will be taking in my second year alongside to the English courses. I'd say its never too early to start learning ;)

I have deleted everything that I had blogged on before. Its funny on how the mind works. You blog and blog but then and the end you delete every single entries that you've made. But oh well I feel like I am on a new fresh page, a beginning of something great. The great, exciting, undiscovered days of my life. Hopefully it will be great :) *fingers crossed.

I can't believe my first year is over just like that, in a blink of an eye. I have a month and a half to go before I leave this house Purchas 23. Exams is in June. Then will be packing and moving things out :( I love this room of mine.

Its almost 4 am, I should go. My sleeping routine is awful at the moment. I need to be productive later. Need to revise for the upcoming exams. I don't wanna say that I would blog every single day like I did on the last 2 blogs but I would say I will write when I feel like writing. Down below is a piece of writing that I did, apparently I was sentimental just now. But I will srite the continuation to it :)

It felt like it was yesterday when I just got here.Everything is foreign and unwelcoming. But today the pathways,the buildings do not seem to overshadow me as I walk pass them. They seemed friendly and everything seems familiar. Home would be the word I would describe this place, it seemed appropriate to call it home.

I feel like I have grown so much, in terms of loving this place, the people and grown in terms of the person inside of me. She learns to stand on her two feet,tiny,tiny to be compared to the big steps that she has made and the big steps that she is still making.She feels so humble and thankful to her God that had given her the chance of walking into the path of her dreams.

High school was where she dreamt of the days,better yet the world that she is living in now. Years ago it was only a dream which seemed impossible. Reaching this dream of hers is simply like wanting to touch the stars.

It was difficult for her,one step foward would be leaving the people that she cared about but in that one step she would be living in her dreams. Bitter sweet that was how she felt. Sad but excited at the same time.

16 hours later.

Ah yes. Her foot was set on the land called England. She said quietly in her heart "Don't be scared, you are not the only one. Everyone else feels the exact same way you do..." With her friends she brought her bags with her approaching to the new world which she would eventually call home, first thing she felt was the gust of wind blowing towards her. She talks to herself,"This is the weather that mother talked about..."
